I still count

I’m not a flower or a grand tree, I’m not a unique mushroom or fungi, but I count and I play a role in my world.

On the trail Upper Tremont Road

The cupboard that opened itself daily

Not a believer in ghosts, but each day this cupboard would open as I sat at the kitchen table. It got to the point I would just leave it open.

Old cabins, like old homes have unique character.

I don’t know the age of this cupboard but I would say it’s very old

Our daily task

Ring in the morning as we headed out for adventures.

Each morning Jack would ring this giant bell as we headed out for our early mornings in the mountains.

Our cabin with solid wooden door and old fashion screen door, complete with torn screen.

This is a huge bell with a equally impressive sound.

The leaning birdhouse

Around the backside of the cabin is a forgotten birdhouse.

No family of birds, although the house is solid it’s a bit of a leaner.

Acros images in the yard

FujiFilm black and white images using the film simulation Acros. We have been sick for the past week so I only shot some images from the yard while dodging a dozen mosquitoes.

Even when you are sick but see some cool mushrooms in the yard you have to go grab your camera and take a picture.

The inks make the print

The image is the most important but second to that is the ink used by the printer, Canon has some of the best inks for printing at home.

Having control of the paper and what ink to use and the final result is the reasons why I find printing at home to be so enjoyable.

Canon Pro 10 inks

13×19 size images makes for a great size for viewing
